New Delhi, March 27 -- Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Legislative Assembly Atishi has written a letter to Delhi Legislative Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta criticizing the decision to block AAP MLAs from raising concerns over the rising crime rate and deteriorating law and order situation in the capital.
Atishi highlighted that several AAP MLAs had submitted requests under Rule 280 to discuss increasing crime in their constituencies, but the Assembly Secretariat informed her that these requests were rejected on the grounds that "law and order is not under the Delhi Assembly's jurisdiction."
