New Delhi, Dec. 29 -- On the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a special programme titled "Yamuna Sangam", dedicated to Yamuna river and environmental conservation, was organised at Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat, New Delhi.
Addressing the gathering, Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra emphasised that the responsibility of cleaning and conserving the Yamuna lies not only with the government but also with the citizens of Delhi. He said public participation and social awareness are crucial for restoring the river's health and ensuring its continuous flow.
