New Delhi, Aug. 30 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the Brahmaputra Wing at Raj Bhavan in Guwahati and laid the foundation/inaugurated eight projects worth Rs.322 crore virtually. He highlighted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the Northeast has witnessed unprecedented development over the past 11 years, which will be remembered in "golden letters" in history.

Shah said the newly established National Cyber Forensic Laboratory (NCFL) in Guwahati will secure citizens' earnings, combat narcotics and arms smuggling, and strengthen border protection across all eight Northeastern states.
