New Delhi, Dec. 3 -- After the Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind sacked senior counsel Rajeev Dhavan from their side to file the review petition on the Supreme Court verdict in connection with the Ayodhya land dispute case, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has decided that Dhavan will continue with them as their counsel.

"Rajeev Dhavan has always been a symbol of unity and justice. AIMPLB will continue its efforts under his esteemed leadership and guidance," said the Board Secretary Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, on Tuesday.

He said that the Board was indebted to the senior lawyer Dhavan for his "sincere, exceptional and incomparable efforts in the Babri case" and he will continue to file the review petition on behalf of individual...
