New Delhi, May 13 -- The Aam Aadmi Party has criticised the BJP government over the hike in electricity tariff in Delhi.

. Addressing a press briefing, AAP MLA Kuldeep Kumar alleged that the so-called "four-engine government" of the BJP has dealt a major blow to Delhi residents.

Kuldeep Kumar reminded that during elections, the BJP had promised 300 units of free electricity per month if voted to power. However, the reality today, according to AAP, is starkly different. Delhi is reportedly facing daily power cuts lasting 6-7 hours in several areas, forcing residents to resort to installing inverters to cope with the outages.
