New Delhi, July 3 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has strongly criticised the BJP-led central government over its recent directive aimed at removing 62 lakh vehicles from Delhi's roads, calling it a "Tughlaqi Farman" (arbitrary decree) that will harm the public and benefit automobile manufacturers.
Leader of Opposition Atishi accused the BJP of acting against the interests of Delhi's citizens under the guise of environmental regulation. "This decision will bring hardship to lakhs of people in Delhi while providing undue advantage to vehicle manufacturing companies," she said.
