New Delhi, Oct. 24 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Vinay Mishra launched a sharp attack on the BJP, accusing it of pretending affection for the Purvanchal community due to the upcoming Bihar elections. Addressing a press conference in Delhi, Mishra said, "For the BJP, Purvanchal is a compulsion, but Bihar elections are the priority."
He alleged that BJP leaders have a long history of disrespecting the Purvanchali community, citing several incidents: He said that BJP leaders have in the past disrupted Chhath Puja celebrations and even damaged Chhath Ghats.
