New Delhi, Sept. 9 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has alleged that Chief Minister Rekha Gupta's husband, Manish Gupta is actively participating in government work and holding meetings with officials.

AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj accused the Chief Minister of "outsourcing governance" to her spouse, terming it unconstitutional and unethical. The party questioned whether Rekha Gupta lacked the capacity to discharge her duties herself and asked the BJP to cite any law permitting a CM's husband to issue directions to officials. In a series of posts, AAP leaders argued that this practice reflected both a violation of constitutional norms and a lack of propriety.
