New Delhi, June 25 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday staged a protest in Buddh Nagar, Inderpuri (Rajendra Nagar Assembly constituency), accusing the BJP-led administration of launching a ruthless demolition campaign that has displaced thousands of poor families in Delhi. Terming the actions as "dictatorial" and "inhumane," AAP leaders claimed that the demolition of jhuggi-jhopri (slum) settlements has rendered lakhs homeless without any resettlement measures.
