New Delhi, June 3 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has launched a public outreach campaign inviting suggestions from citizens to counter the rising fees in private schools across Delhi. The party has criticized the BJP-led government's proposed bill on school fees, calling it a "cosmetic law" that would harm parents and benefit education mafias.
Addressing a press conference, Leader of Opposition in Delhi Legisllative Assembly Atishi said, the bill fails to provide any real protection for parents and lacks mechanisms for effective fee regulation and transparency. The party claims the legislation is designed to appease private school lobbies under the guise of reform.
