New Delhi, Dec. 19 -- Delhi Cabinet Minister Pravesh Sahib Singh launched a sharp attack on the previous AAP government, alleging that it failed to carry out even the most basic pollution-control measures during its 11-year rule, forcing the current BJP-led government to address years of accumulated neglect.

Addressing the media, the Minister said that several essential works-such as removal of garbage mountains, repair of footpaths, management of e-waste, cleaning of the Yamuna, regular road cleaning, construction and cleaning of drains, installation of dust-control measures, and strengthening sanitation infrastructure-should have been completed long ago to curb pollution in Delhi.
