New Delhi, April 15 -- The 83rd Sree Ramanavami Global Music Festival, India's largest classical music festival which was established in 1939 by Late SV Narayanaswamy Rao began on 13th April at Old Fort High School Grounds, Chamarajapet, Bengaluru. The festival which will last until 13th May 2021 started with many restrictions and protocols as a result of the increasing case of COVID-19.

The biggest Music Festival of India has hosted around 400 artists of national and international repute every year and an audience of around 6,000 people. Moreover, the Carnatic vocalist and Bharat Ratna awardee MS Subbalakshmi performed 32 concerts at the festival.
