New Delhi, Oct. 24 -- According to a statement by the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) Delhi, the Delhi Government has extended substantial financial relief to residents through the Water Amnesty Scheme. So far, 3,635 consumers have benefited from the initiative, collectively making payments worth Rs.6.56 crore. In return, they received rebates amounting to Rs.9.17 crore, offering significant support to households across the city.
The Water Amnesty Scheme-implemented by the Delhi Jal Board under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta-aims to encourage citizens to clear their pending water bills.
