2021 World Men's Handball Championship: Defending Champions Denmark make winning start
New Delhi, Jan. 22 -- The main round of the matches started in Group 1 and Group II at the 2021 World Men's Handball Championship. In Group II, defending Champions Denmark registered an impressive 32-32 win against Qatar after leading 17-12 at halftime. Mikkel Hansen scored 8 goals for Denmark and dominated Qatar throughout the match. For Qatar, Cuban born Frankis Marzo scored 12 goals
In another Group II match, Croatia defeated Bahrain 28-18 after leading 13-8 at halftime. Zlatko Horvat scored 8 goals for Croatia.
