New Delhi, June 19 -- In a major rescue effort, 110 Indian students stranded in Iran have been safely evacuated under #OperationSindhu. The students arrived in New Delhi on a special flight from Yerevan, Armenia.
Minister of State for External Affairs K.V. Singh personally received the evacuees at the airport, reflecting the government's commitment to citizen welfare.
The Ministry of External Affairs reiterated that the Government of India remains firmly committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of Indian nationals abroad. Operation Sindhu is part of India's proactive diplomatic and logistical response to emerging crises affecting its diaspora.
