New Delhi, Feb. 12 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the India Energy Week being held at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi.

He highlighted the country's five energy pillars: resource utilization, innovation, economic strength, strategic geography, and sustainability. ""India is leading the global energy transition with innovation, sustainability and inclusivity at its core," the PM remarked.

PM Modi reaffirmed Bharat's commitment to achieving key 2030 targets, including 500 GW of renewable energy capacity, net-zero emissions for Indian Railways, and five million metric tons of green hydrogen production. He noted Bharat's rapid energy transformation, with solar capacity increasing 32 times in a decade and ethanol blending reaching 19%.
