Mumbai, March 15 -- The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, announced on social media platform 'X' on 14 March 2024 that theOil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have informed it of the revised petrol and diesel prices across the country. The new prices, effective 15 March 2024 (6 am), mark a reduction in the price of both the fuels by INR 2 per litre.

The development comes at a time when the nation will go into election mode in a next few days' time. The people of the country will elect law makers for the next five years to sit in its parliament.
