Rabat, June 18 -- AGCO, a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, has opened a new office in the north-east of Casablanca, Morocco.

According to the company's website, AGCO's innovative approaches are helping make more productive farms-and helping make the world a better, more sustainable place. AGCO's philosophy says that professional farm machinery is key to boosting agricultural productivity and reducing post-harvest waste.

"The opening of the Casablanca office demonstrates AGCO's strong commitment to 'Run Africa from Africa,'" The AGCO vice-president and general manager Africa, Nuradin Osman, said.
