NEW DELHI, March 26 -- Bookings of private charter planes is showing green shoots of recovery from last year's covid-induced disruptions amid a rise in first-time fliers seeking to avoid infections, ongoing poll campaigning and improving travel appetite, especially after the rollout of coronavirus vaccines, according to senior industry officials.

Bookings of private charter helicopters and planes, which almost halved during the pandemic, is recovering gradually, said Sanjay Julka, chief executive officer (technical) at Club One Air, one of the country's oldest and biggest air charter companies.
