Ahmedabad, April 26 -- On the eve of elections, the mood in many parts of Gujarat is deeply conflicted. "They (central government) attacked us with everything they could. First came note ban (demonetisation), which threw our lives completely out of gear... then came GST (goods and services tax)," says Mahesh Prajapati, who runs a pharmacy in Ahmedabad's middle-class Memnagar locality.
