In the most consequential blockbuster window of the year, actor Vijay's political action film Sarkar ran into trouble with the state's ruling party, All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), over its depiction of the late politician Jayalalithaa and her welfare schemes.
