Groupe PSA to roll out Citroen offering by 2021
New Delhi, March 1 -- French carmaker Groupe PSA will tap its Citroen brand to return to the Indian market after about 24 years in 2021. PSA plans to sell a locally-manufactured vehicle under the Citroen brand and also set up a manufacturing base in India to supply components for its operations here as well as for exports, Carlos Tavares, chairman of managing board, said on Tuesday while presenting the company's 2018 financial results. PSA will build its manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu, also home to France's Groupe Renault. PSA will follow South Korea's Kia Motors Corp. and China's SAIC Motor Corp.
