New Delhi, April 1 -- Akshay Kumar's period epic Kesari seems no signs of losing its charm at the box office even after the festive Holi week. The film collected Rs.10.75 crore in its second weekend, taking its domestic total to Rs.116.75 crore.

"Kesari picks up momentum on second Saturday, north India leads, while other circuits are back on track. Rs.150 crore is within reach, if it continues to trend strongly on subsequent days," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Trade website Box Office India said the film is doing particularly well in territories like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and East Punjab thanks to its narrative being set in the northern half of the country and Kumar even playing a Sikh army officer. Meanwhile, other circuits like ...
