New Delhi, Nov. 13 -- A special court on Wednesday sent former union finance minister P. Chidambaram to judicial custody till 27 November in the INX Media money laundering case filed by the Enforcement Directorate.

With Delhi district courts shut today, due to a strike, the proceedings were held via video conferencing.

The Delhi High court on 8 November had reserved its order in the veteran Congress leader's regular bail plea.

A special court on 30 October had sent the veteran leader to judicial custody till 13 November in the case. Chidambaram has now spent over two months in the custody of investigation agencies and Tihar jail.
