India, Aug. 22 -- Jaipur is all set to celebrate Krishna Janmashtami on 23rd and 24th August with great devotional fervour at famous Govind Devji Temple in the city. The festival commemorates the birthday of Lord Krishna - the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu who is revered for his wisdom in the form of Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga and Gyan Yoga as propounded in the Bhagavat Geeta.

In Jaipur, the festival is celebrated for two days and tourism department in the city organises Vedic Walks, visits to temples, and royal buildings including City Palace for the visitors who flock to the city on Krishna Janmashtami.
