India, March 21 -- Internet search engine and technology giant Google celebrates the Indian festival of colours with a colourful graphic-style doodle created by Chennai-based artist Chaaya Prabhat. The two Gs of the logo have been shaped by a splash of colour and the trunk of an elephant respectively.

"From Bollywood films to music videos, the visual excitement of Holi has become a familiar sight: joyful revellers frolicking in the streets of India throwing handfuls of colorful powder on one another," writes Google on its website.
