India, Aug. 29 -- Natvarasanas or Lord Krishna Poses are cross-lateral balancing and hemi-spherical coordination poses. For children across their ability spectrum, these asanas develop balance on both sides of midline of the body.

If done properly, the asana also enhances concentration and awareness. For children, if done under supervision it improves attentiveness. I have been recommending this yogasana for children with special needs in a room with a full length mirror in one-one-situation under the supportive and remedial guidance of a physical therapist.
