The second most bitter truth for Shiv Sena, post October 21, 2019 Assembly polls is that they have been allotted seats with the opposition parties, for the upcoming Winter Session of parliament due to start from November 18 to December 13.

The new arrangement is fallout of the regional outfit's decision to part ways with its long-time ally, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Maharashtra, both parties failed to arrive at a consensus over a power-sharing arrangement for the post of Chief Minister, for which the Sena claimed that Amit Shah had agreed upon the 50:50 formula.
