TURA, June 25 -- The Meghalaya Pradesh Youth Congress (MPYC) on Thursday held a protest in Tura over the continuing increase of fuel prices, despite worldwide crude costs of the same being at a historic low."The common man is bearing the brunt of the unprecedented crisis due to the outbreak of COVID 19 and the unplanned lockdown imposed by Modi government. Instead of helping the people, Prime Minister, Modi and his government continues to loot the people of India by not just raising fuel rates on a daily basis but also refusing to share benefits of lower crude oil prices with people," said the President of MPYC, Richard Marak.
