SHILLONG, June 8 -- The state government has appealed to all returnees, who are undergoing quarantine, to cooperate by adhering to the mandatory protocols, to prevent further spread of COVID-19 in the state."We have received many complaints regarding the delay to get the report of the RT-PCR tests. Therefore, I requested all those (returnees) who have to stay at quarantine centers to bear with us as until we get the test reports, we cannot release them (as per protocols)," Deputy Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Prestone Tynsong told reporters on Monday. He said as per protocol, people returning from different parts of the country, are being taken directly to the quarantine centers on their arrival in the state.
