Meghalaya citizens are ignorant about the Consumer Rights
Shillong, June 19 -- People world over have the instinct for self-defence, self-comfort and dignity. In the case of developed and organized society, the similar concern is in the name of social welfare is normally extended in the organized and sensitized communities, but there are areas where the citizens are self-obsessed, and will not react to anything until self is affected. Such attitude encourages the stakeholders of trade and commerce, services, customers care units and even government departments to be corrupt, by not providing the quality services, which is the violation of Consumer Rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1986.
