SHILLONG, June 9 -- The total number of COVID-19 cases in the State rose to 43 on Tuesday with four more testing positive.Out of the four, one is a 70 year old without any travel history and admitted in the isolation ward of the Robert Hospital since admission while the other three are returnees from outside the State.

DHS (MI),Dr, Aman Warr informed that the 70 year old was admitted in Robert Hospital on June 7 and he was tested positive on Tuesday.

Settling the panic that has gripped many, Warr said, "There was no mingling of the staff looking after this patient with the general staff of the patient and there was no mingling of even the attendants of the patient".
