MDA to hold special session to pass resolution for ILP in Meghalaya
Shillong, Dec. 14 -- Meghalaya Government has decided to convene a One-day Special Session of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly to bring in a Government Resolution to implement the ILP in the State.This was decided after a delegation of the Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA) led by Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma met the Union Home Minister, Amit Shah on Saturday at about 12:30 AM.
The MDA delegation also consisted of UDP president, Metbah Lyngdoh; Dy CM,Prestone Tynsong; BJP leader A.L. Hek; PDF president, Banteidor Lyngdoh;Working President of PDF,Hamlet Dohling;Chief Organiser, HSPDP, Samlin Malngiang; NPP's S. Dhar andThomas A Sangma; Meghalaya NCP chief, Saleng A. Sangma; and independent legislatorLambor Malngiang.
