SHILLONG, June 24 -- The Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA) government has made it abundantly clear that it will not sit quietly if Meghalaya is deprived of its own full-fledged Central Agricultural University (CAU).Talking to media persons here on Monday, the state's Agriculture Minister, Banteidor Lyngdoh said that a delegation of the Meghalaya Government recently met the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Union Agriculture Minister, Narendra Sing Tomar and apprised them about the stand of the State Government to setup a Central Agricultural University and not a college in the state.
