SHILLONG, June 18 -- The Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad K Sangma is waiting for the report of the High Level Committee (HLC) headed by Deputy Chief Minister, Prestone Tynsong before deciding on what is to be done on the issue of the Sweepers' Colony in Them Iew Mawlong."Let us wait for the report to come in and we will take a call," Conrad said at the sidelines of a function held here on Tuesday.

On the recent demand of the Harijan Panchayat Committee (HPC) for permanent land papers to be given to the residents of the Colony, the Chief Minister said that they are welcome to give their letters and it is duty of the HLC to listen to all the stakeholders.
