SHILLONG, June 26 -- Former Deputy Chief Minister and nominated member of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC), Bindo M. Lanong on Friday suggested the need for the Autonomous District Councils from Assam and Meghalaya to find a solution to resolve the long pending inter-state boundary dispute between the two states."The ADCs from both states should discuss and arrive at a solution based on understanding, documents or spirit of give and take to end the boundary dispute," Lanong said while participating in the budget discussion during the last day of the Council's summer session. He said that the need of the hour is to come up with a formula which is acceptable to both sides.
