SHILLONG, May 27 -- Another 1400 people stranded across the country will be coming back to the state, Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong informed on Wednesday.Tynsong told reporters that special trains from Andhra Pradesh carrying over 317 people from the state and from Rajasthan (150) will be leaving for Guwahati railway station today.

He said two more special trains have been arranged for bringing back people stranded in Delhi and Kerala. "Each special train will be carrying not less than 500 stranded people from the state," he added.

The deputy CM further informed stranded people who returned to the state till Wednesday afternoon have crossed 10,100.
