Mali, Oct. 6 -- The Ivorian political landscape is undergoing a major shift. Charles Blé Goudé has formalized his support for Simone Ehivet Gbagbo , candidate of the Movement of Capable Generations (MGC). During an extraordinary COJEP convention in Yamoussoukro on October 4, 2025, he declared : " As of tomorrow, I will start campaigning for Simone Ehivet ." Thus , he confirms his active commitment from October 5.
This rally comes despite a previous closeness displayed with Ahoua Don Mello . However , an internal vote at the COJEP massively leaned towards Simone Gbagbo (127 votes against 31). Nevertheless , Blé Goudé expressed the wish to see the two opposition figures come closer .
