KOTA KINABALU, Nov. 14 -- The United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (Upko) will contest 25 seats in the upcoming Sabah state election, led by its president Datuk Ewon Benedick in Kadamaian.
Recently independent from the Pakatan Harapan coalition, Ewon said he will personally lead the party's candidates in championing a principled fight for the 'Sabah First' agenda, rooted in the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) and Sabah's constitutional rights.
"Upko's candidates will uphold principled leadership, guided by clear benchmarks and performance indicators to ensure they continuously deliver the best outcomes for the people of Sabah," he said.
