SEOUL, Sept. 12 -- Chaeyoung of K-pop girl group TWICE has released her first solo studio album, Lil Fantasy vol. 1, marking her debut as an individual artist.
According to Yonhap News Agency, she is the fourth member of the band to go solo, following Nayeon, Jihyo and Tzuyu.
"I filled the album with my tastes, thoughts and attitude," Chaeyoung said through her agency JYP Entertainment, describing it as "an album that shows everything that makes up the person Chaeyoung."
The rapper likened the release to opening a treasure chest she had been filling over time.
"This is a work I've been slowly preparing for a long time, and I hope many people will listen to it," she added.
