SEREMBAN, Oct. 31 -- The Yang Dipertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir, has revoked the Darjah Setia Negeri Sembilan (DSNS) award conferred on Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) Board of Directors chairman Prof Emeritus Dr Mohamad Abd Razak, with immediate effect.

According to a Bernama report, Registrar of Orders Datuk Mohd Zafir Ibrahim said in a statement yesterday that the decision was made to preserve the dignity and honour of the Royal Institution of Negeri Sembilan.

Dr Mohamad was originally awarded the DSNS, which carries the title Datuk, in 2004.
