SINGAPORE, Oct. 22 -- Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) has stood by its clinical team after a woman accused hospital staff of mistreating her during her stay earlier this month.

CNA reported that in a Facebook statement on Tuesday, the hospital said it was aware of online posts by the patient, who claimed her treatment at the hospital was "insensitive and inappropriate".

"We take the allegations seriously," the hospital said, adding that the team's actions were guided by its duty to ensure the patient's safety and well-being.

"Our team acted swiftly, responsibly and out of genuine concern to protect the patient under the circumstances," it said.
