SINGAPORE, Sept. 21 -- Singapore's largest taxi operator, ComfortDelGro (CDG), is set to begin cross-border taxi services to Johor Bahru later this month, offering commuters a more convenient option for travel between the neighbouring countries.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, CDG announced that fares will be fixed at S$80 (RM262) for rides from Singapore to Johor Bahru's Larkin Terminal.

Meanwhile, pick-ups from Ban San Street taxi stand and Singapore Changi Airport will be priced at S$60 and S$120, respectively.

A spokesman for CDG told The Straits Times that 90 licensed cross-border cabbies will be available for the service, which can be booked up to 24 hours in advance.
