SINGAPORE, Sept. 25 -- A 39-year-old man pleaded guilty to causing grievous hurt to his wife after a dispute over how to use proceeds from their condominium sale, leaving her with fractures to her ribs, clavicle and facial bones, CNA reported.
The court heard that Au Yong Khin Mun struck his wife multiple times during a meal at the Singapore University of Technology and Design canteen in December 2024.
When initial slaps missed, he hit her with a cup, plate, his hands, and even kneed her, before forcibly throwing her to the ground.
