SINGAPORE, Sept. 23 -- Singapore influencer Genie Yamaguchi has been ordered to wear an electronic tag and observe a nightly curfew after admitting to stealing more than S$600 (RM2,000) worth of goods from a Don Don Donki outlet in the city-state.
Accrdding to The Straits Times, the 30-year-old, who runs a preserved flower service and a beauty aesthetics clinic, was issued a three-month Day Reporting Order (DRO) today.
The community-based sentence spares her a fine or jail term but requires regular reporting to a supervision centre. She must also remain indoors from 10pm to 6am daily.
