BINTULU, Sept. 14 -- The Sarawak government remains committed to resolving site-related issues affecting the Ulu Pandan Road Project (Phase 2) here to avoid unnecessary delays, said Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas.
He emphasised the need to address land and technical matters swiftly to ensure the project progresses on schedule.
"The scope of works includes the construction of an eight-kilometre paved main road (JKR R3 standard), six kilometres of branch roads (JKR R1 standard), and the rehabilitation of 11 kilometres of existing road under Phase 1, covering the stretch from Sungai Tissay Bridge to Sungai Kelabat Bridge," he said in a statement following a visit to the project site today.
