KUALA LUMPUR, Nov. 9 -- A lorry driver broke his right leg after his vehicle skidded and plunged into a drain at KM 419.6 of the North-South Expressway (PLUS), near the Bukit Tagar Toll Plaza northbound in Hulu Selangor yesterday.
According to Harian Metro, Hulu Selangor district police chief Superintendent Ibrahim Husin said police received a report about the incident at about 3.30pm.
"The lorry, driven by a 25-year-old man, was transporting rubbish from the Taman Beringin landfill in Batu Caves to the Bukit Tagar disposal site.
"Upon reaching the location, the driver is believed to have lost control of the vehicle, veered right, hit the road divider, and ended up in a drain," he said when contacted by the national daily.
