KUALA LUMPUR, Nov. 16 -- Nursery operators in Sungai Buloh, who had been ordered to move to Bukit Changgang by this month, have been allowed to stay at their present location for one more year.

According to a report by The Star, Lee Chee Hong, president of Selangor and Kuala Lumpur Landscaping and Nursery Operators Association, said that the operators were verbally informed of the decision by the Selangor Mentri Besar's Office.

"The owners of over 60 lots here can now focus on ordering fresh stock before Chinese New Year.

"Business has been tough due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so we hope to be able to recoup our losses during this one-year period," said Lee.
