KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 31 -- Cosmetics entrepreneur Datuk Seri Vida has said she does not regret standing by her principles, despite her luxury items, including several cars, being auctioned off yesterday.

Vida, whose real name is Datuk Seri Hasmiza Othman, 54, said she remains firm in her decision even though she continues to bear the consequences.

"I really didn't want to pay. Even though I could afford it, my heart ached.

"I paid the bank RM100,000 a month waiting for the project to be completed, but three years later, it's still unfinished.

"If I paid, my reputation would lose its value. But if I fought, people would still criticise me.

"I remain strong because I believe we must look forward," she said during a TikTok Live broadcast ...
