KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 29 -- City Hall (DBKL) has denied viral social media claims that free flower plants were being distributed at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa following the KL Park Festival 2025.

In a statement, DBKL clarified that contractors were currently carrying out cleaning and removal works of decorative plants as part of the festival's closure.

It stressed that no public distribution or giveaway of plants had been authorised.

The city authority also urged the public not to enter restricted areas or take any plants or decorations from the site, saying this was to ensure public safety and smooth clean-up operations.
